Because we have been good boys and girls we have a day off from sightseeing, but not from eating. We have a visitation from Mario and Luigi the local pizzeristas who fire up the wood oven and make huge quantities of delectable cheesy covered dough delights.
We eat till we are full to bursting and then like Mr Creosote, we eat more. We all make a solemn vow that we will never eat again or failing that not until tomorrow or failing that not until dinner or afternoon tea, whichever comes first!

Anyway who can resist the delights presented to us by Maestro Stefano and his dedicated team
-we sup on lentil soup, a whole goat(to refresh the palate) and then caramalised quinces.
