Au revoir croissant, ciao pasta

We are picked up by our driver to take us to Lyon airport; the car exudes copious amounts of tobacco smoke which I believe is the equivalent of smoking a 30 pack. It is with heavy hearts and hand luggage we farewell La Belle France and its chacuteries and take the silver oiseau to Roma. We have a 3 hour wait for our connection so need some sustenance tipico Italianno-so we settle on Il hamburger tres authenico di Roma; sometimes one has to get away from all this heavy foreign stodge and just have some good honest healthy sh**.
We then fly to Brindisi to meet up with the Stefano group and are driven to our villa in Alezio in Puglia and meet up with Stefano, Donata and a motley crowd of fellow travelers so we can all discuss our medical complaints.
Dinner was a splendid cuttlefish risotto prepared by the maestro followe by fish bones accompanied by fish flesh.
