Today we are off to visit Orvieto.
I spend the morning with my box brownie wandering around our villa;
then Stefano creates a fabulous capsicum soup and a fennel mornay thingy.
Then it is off to Orvieto to view the stunning cathedral. Access is via funiculi funicular.
Orvieto cathedral has a big wow factor
and our resident docent, Dugal, earned his PhD studying Signorelli's frescoes which have a big WTF factor.
We then repair to the Palazzone vineyard for a tour and dinner with much flowing vino.
Everybody is happy and tired.
