Today I return to the home of my patron saint Assisi.
After a short drive we arrive and visit the church and look at the big F's tomb.
Apparently F had a penchant for talking to birds and other animals at length-we have a special name for those people today and a special place for them to live. Accompanied by our garrulous American guide we move right along to Spello and lunch with wine tasting.

Then it is back home for a delicious dinner prepared by Stefano.
