I vent my spleen

They do a lot of very good  things in Italy, however our main complaint is the water quality; the water has made all our clothes shrink significantly-soon I'll have to buy a whole new wardrobe, which is also difficult as the sizes here are a lot smaller than in Australia.

Today is street food tour of Palermo. We meet our affable guide who directs us through various markets,

Nice!

sampling local specialties-we found them as a rule somewhat unremarkable,

though the spleen sandwich was a bit of a winner.

We also took in some local sights as well as the inevitable churches.

Palermo Cathedral

In the afternoon we visited the spectacular Palatine chapel

followed by an exciting trip back to our apartment in a 3 wheeled taxi.
In the evening we had a booked into Frida, supposedly the best pizza in town; we decided this was the best pizzas ever created, washed down with copious draughts of beer.

Yep, the rolled crust is stuffed with molten cheese
