Today is a NCD(no church day) but not a fasting day, so it is off to the Umbertide market
to buy supplies for the rest of the day. Stefano tells me I must try the porchetta sandwich and unfortunately being so soon after breakfast I can only manage 1 1/2 of these delights of pork filled fresh bread rolls.
We then visit to Montone, where my then current partner and I spent a week 6 years ago.
The townfolk greeted me with open arms and reminisced about the jolly timess we all had together.......NOT!
Then back to the villa for some serious cooking and eating.
