Lazing by the Loire

Fontevraud from our front door
A quiet day today with a visit to Candace st Martin listed as one of the beautiful villages of France-reminded me very much of Cranbourne.
Nuclear power reactor or the local goat cheese factory?

Hummingbird hawk moth for Ella,Matilda and Oliver

We had lunch at a wayside cafe where our host looked like the local serial killer.
After lunch we drove to a massive supermarket to stock up on vittles for our evening repast of cassoulet prepared by Eric-quite delicious, helped by the addition of Toulouse sausage. Then of course the obligatory cheese course.
