A Thymic Crisis

First things first, the French are very very good at a lot of things e.g. most foods, wine, road signs etc but they have one very big failure......COFFEE; they just don't get it! Anyway we will soon be in Italy where it is difficult to get a bad coffee. Anyway now I've got that off my chest I'll continue.
After a couple of false starts we make our way to the Musee de Confluence, where we spend a number of hours
Our tour group

I highly recommend this place for any visitor to Lyon, fascinating (also the museum).
Following a bit of generalised rambling

we make our way to La Mere Brazier (The mother's brassiere?) to notch up a couple more Michelin stars

Bresse chicken and foie gras en croute

Fish

Foie Gras-Apparently this dish is 10 years old although it did taste quite fresh!

Quenelle with lobster and brussel spouts

Thymus

Madelaine

"Don't be alarmed Madame, this is mostly air"

Yum
following which I am starting to resemble the Michelin man. Then a pleasant perambulation back to our digs with our stomachs full and our wallets empty.
