First things first, the French are very very good at a lot of things e.g. most foods, wine,road signs etc but they have one very big failure......COFFEE; they just don't get it! Anyway we will soon be in Italy where it is difficult to get a bad coffee. Anyway now I've got that off my chest I'll continue.
After a couple of false starts we make our way to the Musee de Confluence, where we spend a number of hours
interrupted by a light lunch.
I highly recommend this place for any visitor to Lyon,fascinating (also the museum).
Following a bit of generalised rambling
we make our way to La Mere Brazier (The mother's brassiere?) to notch up a couple more Michelin stars
following which I am starting to resemble the Michelin man. Then a pleasant perambulation back to our digs with our stomachs full and our wallets empty.
